Who we are

Bespoke Apply is a service operated by Hutch Media Group ("we", "us", "our"), based in England. Our contact email is hello@hutchmedia.group.

This policy explains what data we collect when you use Bespoke Apply, why we collect it, and what your rights are under UK GDPR.

What data we collect and why

CV and job description content

When you use the tool, you provide your CV and a job description. This content is sent directly to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your tailored CV and cover letter. We do not store this content on our servers. Once the output is returned to your browser, the content is not retained by us.

Anthropic processes this data as our data processor. You can read their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

Email address (waitlist)

If you sign up to our waitlist, we collect your email address. This is stored securely in Supabase and used only to notify you when the service launches or to send relevant product updates. We will not pass your email to third parties or use it for unrelated marketing.

Account information (coming soon)

When we introduce user accounts, we will update this policy to reflect what additional data is collected.

Cookies and analytics

We currently use only essential cookies required for the service to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics tools in future, we will update this policy and seek your consent where required.

Legal basis for processing

We process your CV and job description content on the basis of contract — it is necessary to provide the service you have requested.

We process your email address on the basis of legitimate interest in notifying you about the service you signed up to hear about.

How long we keep your data

CV and job description content: not retained by us beyond the duration of your session.

Waitlist email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing or request restriction
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk

Third-party services

• Anthropic — processes your CV and job description to generate output
• Supabase — stores waitlist email addresses
• Vercel — hosts the application

All processors are required to handle data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email where we hold your address. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
